Ironing, what a passion! Does not anyone know that ….?

“I can do every homework but ironing!” or “I relax myself ironing!”

We heard lots of times these two antithetical statements because everyone takes up a position about the ironing. The beloved/hated steam iron is an irreplaceable household appliance which gives shirts, jumpers, jackets and skirts their best shape.

It’s come quite a long way since our grandmother stuffed it with coals to get the plate hot.

The modern steam irons and in particular those ones with boiler make you save time and assured perfect-ironed suits.

Using some easy tricks, everyone may aspire to be a good ironer:

1)       Sweatshirts should be ironed inside out, in this way they do not become glossy.

2)       Shirts would be flawless, if you begin ironing from the sleeves, then the back and in the end the front and the collar.

3)       All the suits with drawings or printing writings should be ironed inside out to avoid that the suits stick to the iron.

4)       Jeans has no crease!

5)       Shirts and linen’s embroidery should be ironed inside out: in this way the embroidery would be emphasized.

6)       Acetate or blended suits should be neither moist nor wet before ironing.

7)       Velvet should never be ironed but steamed.

8)       If you see sweat marks or stains on the suits you are ironing, do not iron on them: The stain fixes irremediably.

9)       Never iron plastic buttons.

10)    Never iron ecological furs

11)    Dark trousers and skirts should be ironed inside out to avoid the glossy.

12)    It is necessary for crochets to be stretched when it is still wet  and then ironed so that it would get its original shape.

13)    Do not lay the steam iron on rib suits. otherwise they lose the original shape.
